Paris at dusk is the most romantic place in the world, as the city turns into the city of light. Take a walk along the Seine River. The famed Notre Dame Cathedral rises in the Île de la Cité. The image captured in my painting is poignant as it is based on a picture taken before the fire in 2019. I have visited Paris since the fire and have seen the venerable cathedral scaffolded and closed to the public. It reopened in 2024.
I used a half impressionist and half pointillist style for the beautiful image.
The painting size is 10" x 8". Signed on front; varnished. The painting is framed in a beautiful, deep red brown, wooden frame and ready to hang for your pleasure. The framed size is 14.5" x 12.5".
I used to sell my oil paintings unframed at a lower price. Then I realized most collectors don't ever get them framed. Alas, a painting looks so much better when framed and it's important for its safe conservation. All you have to do is find a perfect spot for the painting!
