The Bethesda Fountain in the New York Central Park is one of my favorite fountains in the world. It is both majestic and elegant. I have a larger painting of the fountain from a different angle under diffuse light, but in this painting it's a sunny spring day and magnolias are in full bloom! The Angel of the Waters strides forward while four small cherubim representing health, purity, temperance, and peace frolic in the shelter.
The painting size is 9" x 6". Signed on front; varnished. The painting is framed in a beautiful antique gold, wooden frame and ready to hang for your pleasure. The framed size is 12.5" x 9.5".
