A beautiful courtyard in Old Town, Lyon in France. I had the happy opportunity to explore Lyon's famous Old Town on my own on a sunny summer day. Some buildings are medieval and others, early modern; in other words, they are all hundreds of years old. I fell upon this beautiful staircase in a courtyard where the light was more subdued than the bright outside. Do you wonder who lives behind the door, up the winding staircase?
