Tulips are blooming in the Channel Gardens in Rockefeller Center in New York City. The prominent fountainhead in the middle ground is that of a Triton, a Greek god of the sea and the son of Poseidon. The painting is based on an old photo I took in 2009, which brings back a happy memory from that spring day. I was mighty proud when I nailed the water jets of the fountains!
The painting size is 12" x 9". Signed on front. You will have to get the painting matted and framed for presentation and conservation.
The watercolor painting is on Arches 140 lb cold press watercolor paper.
