This painting is based on an old picture taken on a beautiful summer day when a group of friends and I went for a plein-air paint out to the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. It is an overwhelming subject to tackle on location, but what a heavenly place to paint in studio!
The painting size is 12" x 9". Signed on front; varnished. The painting is framed in an antique gold wooden frame and ready to hang for your pleasure. The framed size is 15.25" x 12.25".
I used to sell my oil paintings unframed at a lower price. Then I realized most collectors don't ever get them framed.
