In Italian, faraglioni are stacks, coastal and oceanic rock formations eroded by waves. They are found at the coasts of several regions of Italy and my painting is of Capri. The dramatic Faraglioni are indeed Capri's most iconic sight, three towering rock formations which jut out from the Mediterranean just off the island's coast.

If you have been to Capri, you have probably done the cruise going around the beautiful island, and on the south coast, you have seen them and gone through the hole in the middle stack. What a thrill!

The painting size is 8" x 10". Signed on front; varnished. The painting is framed in a beautiful antique gold wooden frame and ready to hang for your pleasure. The framed size is 11.25" x 13.25".

I used to sell my oil paintings unframed at a lower price. Then I realized most collectors don't ever get them framed. Alas, a painting looks so much better when framed and it's important for its safe preservation.  In return for a higher shipping tag, I spare you from the high cost and hassle of framing job. All you have to do is find a perfect spot for the painting!

Oil on canvas on panel. The painting is mounted on panel with archival glue. In other words, I have used a top quality material, which guarantees a long-term preservation of the painting.
