The house in the painting could be any colonial-style house; but it is not. It is the Manor House at Green Spring Gardens Park in Alexandria, VA. Daffodils are blooming in the foreground. The park is a peaceful oasis for flower lovers throughout the year. The painting portrays the park in spring. Beyond the house, you can see magnolias in full bloom.
