Assateague Island Sunset

Assateague Island Sunset by Kim Stenberg, Oil, 8 x 10

Assateague Island in the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Maryland is famous for its wild ponies. Here there were no ponies, but the exquisite sunset and its golden hues permeating the marshy landscape took my breath away!

The painting size is 8" x 10". Signed on front; varnished. The painting is framed in an antique gold wooden frame and ready to hang for your pleasure. The framed size is 11.25" x 13.25".

I used to sell my oil paintings unframed at a lower price. Then I realized most collectors don't ever get them framed. Alas, a painting looks so much better when framed and it's important for its safe conservation.  In return for a higher shipping tag, I spare you from the high cost and hassle of framing job. All you have to do is find a perfect spot for the painting!

Oil on oil-primed Belgian linen on Baltic birch panel. The painting is mounted on panel with archival glue. In other words, I have used a top quality material, which guarantees a long-term conservation of the painting.
