$500.00 USD

Called the Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs) by locals, this iconic landmark was built in the year 1600 and connects the Doge's Palace to the historic prison across the canal. Even though it has a dark history and was used to transport prisoners, today it is considered one of the most romantic places in Venice. It is tradition to kiss your loved one on a gondola ride while passing under the Bridge of Sighs; just don't expect it to be an intimate moment since most tourists have the same idea. Yes, there is a traffic jam!

The painting size is 10" x 8". Signed on front; varnished. The painting is framed in a beautiful antique gold wooden frame and ready to hang for your pleasure. The framed size is 13.25" x 11.25".

Oil on oil-primed Belgian linen on panel. The painting is mounted on panel with archival glue. In other words, I have used a top quality material, which guarantees a long-term conservation of the painting.
